RACKCONNECT BANDWIDTH PRICING MODEL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Data Transfer Usage Fees
Customer agrees that the following pricing model (the “Pricing Model”) applies:

  • Your recurring monthly fee does not include any bandwidth allowance.
  • When Rackspace provides Services in whole or in part from data centres or other Rackspace facilities located in the UK and/or Hong Kong and/or the United States, you shall be invoiced for your bandwidth usage on a per GB basis at the rate set out in Table A below.
  • When Rackspace provides Services in whole or in part from data centres or other Rackspace facilities located in Australia, you shall be invoiced for your bandwidth usage on a per GB basis at the rate set out in Table B below.
  • You shall be invoiced on a per GB tiered pricing basis for your total bandwidth usage in each calendar month, in accordance with the rates set out in Table A and Table B below.
  • Data transfer usage fees are non-recurring fees and are therefore billed monthly in arrears.

The pricing band applicable to you is determined by the billing currency referenced in the Services Description of the Agreement. For example, if you are paying for Services in Australian Dollars, the pricing band applicable to you is the band labelled ‘AUD’.

Pricing Example (based on Table A): If the customer is billed in USD and uses 100,000 GB in a month, the customer will be charged for 100,000 GB at a rate of: 

  • USD $0.12 per GB for the first 10,000GB (0–10,000GB);
  • USD $0.10 per GB for the next 40,000GB (10,001GB–50,000GB);
  • USD $0.08 per GB for the remaining 50,000GB (50,001–200,000GB).

Existing customers
If you are an existing Rackspace customer, by agreeing to the Pricing Model you accept that as of the effective date of your HSA:

  • the Pricing Model shall apply to all Hosting Services Agreements/Service Order Forms between Rackspace and Customer that are in existence at the date of this Agreement (“Existing Contracts”); and
  • where Existing Contracts reference an inclusive bandwidth allocation, such bandwidth allocation shall no longer apply to those Existing Contracts.
