To achieve a reliable, scalable, and functional OpenStack cloud for diverse production workloads, Rackspace leverages its extensive experience in cloud management and OpenStack architecture to make configuration choices and technology partner SELECTions which must be implemented by our customers to receive Fanatical Support.  To receive Support, Customers must be running the Rackspace Private Cloud Software (available at: http://www.rackspace.com/cloud/private/openstack_software).

The Rackspace Private Cloud Software is a compilation comprised of various components that are available under various open source licenses, which may include Rackspace deployment components, various OpenStack components, and host operating system installers.

With the growing capabilities of the OpenStack project, community support, and customer needs, Rackspace will expand is configuration options to include new systems, functionality, and management tools.
